Ultimately, the harvest we seek is a harvest of souls. We build structures and facilities not as monuments, but so that we can raise a movement of authentic disciples and intentional disciplemakers who love and follow hard after Christ.

Once the smallest congregation of the smallest denomination in Singapore, today it is one of Singapore’s largest churches. By His might, He has made us a blessing to the nations as we grow the IDMC movement locally, regionally and globally.

Do our posture and choices seek to glorify God our Father, and are holy and acceptable to Him?… Are we able to willingly surrender some of our needs and wants, in order that the sacred mission of God through our church may be accomplished?

In life, good and bad runs on parallel tracks… In all things however, a universal constant remains — His grace is sufficient. We can experience the fullness of His peace and presence through the power of His love that sustains us.

God will certainly “bring us into this land” in His time and in His way. Each one who calls Covenant EFC home and believes in its vision will have to pray and “consider our ways”.

The question is, what material are we going to use? Will we build with solid, durable and precious materials?… Only the best structures would be able to channel the heavy loads of broken lives to the foundation of Christ, the solid bedrock of our faith.
