As some of you may know, Capri Hotel where Covenant East Primary hold its ministry, will be unavailable from end of Nov 2022. We are thankful that plans have been made to move to Suntec from next year.
A few weeks ago, I had a conversation with my daughter during Covenant East’s prayer meeting at Suntec. My daughter asked why we need to move out of our current premises at PACC and Capri. She, together with several other children in Primary, associates these spaces as ‘Capri Church’ and ‘PACC Church’.
After explaining the concept of rental to my 8-year-old and the need to raise funds for a permanent home for Covenant East, she replied, “Mommy, you know what? I am going to save up and donate my savings so that they can have money to build the church…” She was very serious and has already saved $30.65 to date coming from her recess money.
As I heard this, I believe that God’s goodness, faithfulness and timeliness couldn’t be more real and divine for Covenant East as we continue to trust Him in leading us each step of the way.
